Dr. Dinesh S. Dave is in the Department of Computer Information Systems. He served as a director of the Center for Business Research in the John A. Walker College of Business. His teaching, research, and consulting activities have been in production and operations management, quantitative methods and techniques, business statistics, and information technology.

Dr. Dave has published his research in journals as Decision Sciences, International Journal of Business Performance Management, International Journal of Management, International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, International Journal of Information Technology Management, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Journal of Applied Business Research, Information & Management, Communication of the ACM, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Health Marketing Quarterly,Tourism Economics, and others. Additionally, Dr. Dave has presented his research at various regional, national, and international professional conferences. He has also completed several funded research projects.

Dr. Dave has been providing leadership to many professional organizations. He served a President of Southeastern Chapter of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences and currently is serving on the council of Southeast Decision Science Institute. Dr. Dave has reviewed articles for journals and he is serving as an editor of International Journal of Electronic Marketing & Retailing, an area editor for International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management.

Dr. Dave received the Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award at the University level and Outstanding Research Award in the College of Business.
