Joseph A. Cazier completed a Ph.D. at Arizona State University in information systems. Joseph has a keen interest in information ethics, trust and security and conducts research in this area. He is also very interested in international technology issues, has lived in Europe and South America and is bilingual (English/Spanish).

Prior to joining Appalachian, Joseph was an instructor at Arizona State University, instructor at Stevens-Henager College, data analyst for W. M. Mercer Consulting, research scientist for Monsanto, general manager for Envirogrow, and supervisor for Cazier Enterprises.
