Darin Hodges, PhD

Assistant Professor

 

Dr. Darin Hodges received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Hodges' research focuses on green information systems (Green IS), sustainable analytics, information security policy, and diverse IS teams. Before becoming interested in academia, Dr. Hodges has a long business career where he worked to integrate technology into business development and decisions in areas generally lacking technological adaptation such as construction and farming. Dr. Hodges integrates his business experiences with academic advancements to expand students' technological understanding while helping students think 'outside the box' for technological solutions to business problems. Dr. Hodges is a member of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) SIGGreen which focuses on environmentally responsible activities where IS adoption can make a meaningful environmental difference.
