Thirty-nine faculty and staff members in the Walker College of Business were named among the most helpful at Appalachian State University in fall 2021, according to a survey of the university's first-year and transfer students, administered by the Office of Student Success.
The students indicated that the following professionals in the Walker College of Business were "most helpful" to them as they began their careers at Appalachian. Among those were five faculty from the Department of Computer Information Systems.

Last year, there were 18 faculty and staff members in the Walker College of Business named "most helpful." Two CIS faculty made the list for both years. They are Lewis Alexander and Dr. Jeffrey Kaleta.
