On Friday, February The Department of Computer Information Systems along with The Center for Analytics, Research and Education began a Lunch and Learn Series. Justin Cervero from ITS introduced a new service from Microsft that will make it easier for all students to access class materials regardless of the type of computer they are using. This service will make Online Learning reachable for more areas of campus.
Awad Hassan with CIS and C.A.R.E. presented on the role IS can play in the agriculture area and how this technology is helping beekeepers learn more efficient beekeeping tactics. This technology will also allow us to study the decline in those bees and how to save them.
The next Lunch and Learn will be held on April 24th.
