Jung Hwan Kim will be joining us in the Department of Computer Information Systems as an Assistant Professor. Prior to joining Appalachian State University, he was a faculty of Information Systems at Queens University of Charlotte and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His research focuses on digital innovation, information security and risk management, and emergent technologies. He will receive a doctorate in business administration from Georgia State University in late July, and he was ABD in Information Systems & Quantitative Sciences at Texas Tech University. He also enjoys playing tennis and other outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, etc. He is currently living in Charlotte, NC, with his spouse and one daughter who is a rising 10th-grade teenager.
