The Department of Computer Information Systems welcomes three new team members, lecturer Scott Jensen, and adjunct faculty members Fred Woolard and Gary Young.
Scott Jensen, CPA, will serve as CIS lecturer. Jensen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds BSBA and MBA degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and App State, respectively. You can reach Jensen by email, jensensl@appstate.edu.
Fred Woolard is an information technology manager for applications systems development and integration at the N.C. State Highway Patrol. Woolard is an App State alumnus, having earned an MS in Applied Data Analytics from the Walker College. You can reach Woolard by email, woolardfa@appstate.edu.
Gary Young joins the faculty at App State by way of Plotly, where he served as Executive Vice President. His research interests include data analytics, data science, AI, and ML.
