Congratulations to Ed Hassler III, Daniel Emer, Jason Hoyle and Joseph Cazier for the publication of their study "Trash to Treasure: Predicting Landfill Gas Flow to Optimize Electricity Generation". This paper uses predictive analytics to predict landfill gas flow which, if known, can be used to generate sustainable electricity while reducing leakage of the greenhouse gas methane into the atmosphere.
